Asia in a Week - Cho' thin, the Hmong Tribe´s Love / Kumari, a Girl Chosen to be a Goddess

Different strokes for different folks
I did see the DVD (but do not recall buying it) as it was shown free on either Amazon Prime or other media outlet. Don't recall what the "Cho'thin" was about; but "the Hmong Tribe's Love" was interesting but don't think the technique would work here (was surprised that the Hmong tribe still existed as they were of value to U.S. military during the Vietnam war). I think the Hmong boys were pretty desperate in getting a wife. The Kumari were young girls of a supposed holy nature (there should have been only one but the segment discovered 3). When they had their first period, they lost their holiness and had to give up the throne and go to work!. Was never able to ascertain exactly what they contributed to society as a whole.
