In addition to demonstrating what to do, World Class Restaurant Service also features a comic relief waiter who gives a contrasting demonstrations of what not to do! A thoroughly accessible, easy-to-follow resource, World Class Restaurant Service is an absolute must-have for any sit-down restaurant, whether owned by a small family or a large corporation - and also a useful study-at-home tool for anyone considering a career in restaurant service. 27 minutes, color.

Great Value Restaurant Industry Training Tool
We own a small casual dining family restaurant and have found World Class Restaurant Service training DVD to be the perfect training tool to introduce our new-hire staff to the concepts of great customer service. In our experience, it is the caring human touch which differentiate our staff from the competition and that is what this DVD reinforces. It helps to instill the core values of how to treat the customer from the moment they enter the restaurant until the moment they leave. Well produced, with some use of comedy to help underscore what NOT to do, the video is the perfect length for an orientation film. Long enough to cover the basics, but short enough to hold the short attention span of entry level employees who are frequently young adults. The use of the Hawaii locale for filming also helps to capture their wandering attention, compared to the usual boring industry training films. Over all, a great value for entry level employee training programs in casual to upscale-casual...

Excellent!
I use this DVD to orientate the new hires at the two restaurant that I own. Just plunk the new-hire down in front of the TV, turn on the movie and viola! They learn all the basic service standards, and also some extra steps they can take REALLY impress the customers! The steps of service are communicated quickly and effectively in a manner that the new generation of employees can relate to. The use of humor in demonstrating what NOT to do also helps to hold their attention. And the Hawaiian setting is fantastic! I tell my staff that I'm sending them on a mini-vacation to Hawaii for hiring on with us. They love it! Over-all, a valuable addition to our training program, and an excellent value!
